Iceye produces software and tools for interpreting satellite data and tracking ice and other arctic conditions in satellite images. It is a spin-off from Aalto’s TUTL commercialization project in 2013 – 2015 employing twenty persons and raised recently a VC investment of 13 M€.

Minima Processor

Minima Processor develops sub-threshold voltage processors based on technology developed by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and the universities of Aalto and Turku. Minima's techniques can be used to optimize processor voltage and frequency operating points dynamically. Minima provides a middleware stack with its hardware that provides compatibility with dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) regimes.

Valo Motion is the creator of ValoClimb - the original Augmented Climbing Wall-- which is the world’s first interactive gaming platform for climbing walls. In 2017, ValoClimb systems were shipped to commercial locations in nearly 40 countries.
