Business Finland's funding instrument Research to Business (R2B) funds projects to commercialize research ideas.
The goal of European Innovation Council (EIC) funding is to radically increase innovation is Europe. Completely new ideas and application of current knowledge in new ways to future technologies can be funded from EIC. EIC offers support to all stages of technology development from validating the scientific basis to its commercialisation. The goal of EIC is to allow scientific breakthrough to have an impact in industry and society. Funding can be applied to research in any field.
Pre-incubator programme
R2B, or the Research to Business pre-incubator programme, is open year-round to original innovations and inventions based on research at Aalto University. The programme is especially for projects that are at the idea stage and that focus on technological research. Once these projects have incorporated, Aalto Startup Center can offer them its Business Generator accelerator programme.
